SMS Terms of Service

This SMS Terms & Messaging Policy ("SMS Terms") describes the text message ("SMS" and "MMS") communications program operated by Retirement Success Club ("Retirement Success Club," "we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

These SMS Terms supplement, and do not replace, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Program Description:

Retirement Success Club operates two text messaging programs:

A. Educational & Marketing Program. When you opt in, you may receive text messages from Retirement Success Club containing educational content related to retirement planning, federal employee benefits, event invitations, free resources, promotional offers, and information about our services and Advisor Partners.

B. Transactional Program. When you book a strategy session, take an assessment, or request a specific resource, you may receive text messages confirming appointments, delivering results, providing reminders, or otherwise responding to your request.

You may be enrolled in one or both programs depending on the forms and opt-ins you complete.

2. How to Opt In:

You may opt in to receive text messages from Retirement Success Club by:

-Submitting your mobile phone number through a form on our website that includes an SMS consent checkbox or disclosure

-Texting a designated keyword (such as GUIDE, START, or YES) to our messaging number

-Verbally consenting during a phone conversation that is documented in our records

-Replying YES or a similar affirmative response to a message confirming your opt-in

By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Retirement Success Club at the mobile number you provide, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded voice technology where applicable.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product, receiving any free resource, or engaging any of our services.

3. Message Frequency:

Message frequency varies based on your activity, opt-ins, and the campaigns you are enrolled in:

-Educational & Marketing Program: typically up to 4-8 messages per month

-Transactional Program: as needed based on your appointments, requests, and activity

You will not be charged by Retirement Success Club for receiving text messages, but standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

4. How to Opt Out:

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us.

After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed and will not receive further marketing messages from that program.

You may also opt out by:

If you are enrolled in multiple messaging programs (such as marketing and transactional), opting out of one program may not automatically opt you out of the other. To stop all communications, contact us directly using the options above.

Please note: if you opt out of transactional messages (such as appointment reminders), we may be unable to provide certain services that depend on text-based communication.

5. How to Get Help:

For help, reply HELP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a message containing our contact information.

6. Supported Carriers:

Our messaging program is compatible with major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, and Google Voice.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless carrier and is outside our control.

7. Message Content:

Text messages from Retirement Success Club may include:

-Educational tips and content related to federal retirement planning

-Notifications about new guides, articles, webinars, or events

-Confirmations and reminders for appointments, strategy sessions, and assessments

-Delivery of results, links to resources, or follow-up information you requested

-Updates about our services, Advisor Partners, and offers

-Account-related and customer service communications

Text messages from Retirement Success Club are for general informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute investment, tax, legal, or insurance advice. See our Terms of Service for full disclaimers.

8. Mobile Number Changes:

If you change or deactivate the mobile number you provided to us, you agree to promptly update your information with us so that messages are not sent to a number reassigned to another person. You also agree that you will not hold us liable for any messages sent to a number you previously provided that has since been reassigned.

9. Privacy:

Information collected through the SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information to third parties for their marketing purposes. As described in our Privacy Policy, we may share your information with Advisor Partners when you request a connection or strategy session, and with service providers who help us operate our messaging program (such as our messaging platform vendor).

10. No Guarantee of Delivery:

We make reasonable efforts to deliver messages, but we do not guarantee that any text message will be delivered, will be delivered in a timely manner, or will be free of errors. Message delivery depends on factors outside our control, including carrier availability, your device, and your service plan.

12. Changes to This Policy:

We may modify these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by text message, email, or prominent notice on our website, and will take effect upon posting. Your continued participation in the messaging program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, reply STOP to opt out.
